Nothing but the sweet tooth!

They I have been in love with what can be made with flour, sugar and butter since I was 12!  My first memories of baking are of me making my brother and sisters birthday cakes.  They were always surprised and delighted with the creations I came up with and still are today.

I joined the Air Force as a law enforcement officer, soon after high school, because I wanted follow in my Father & brother's footsteps to serve my country, learn disciplines, and I wanted to help people.   Little did I realized that the only time people would want my help as a cop is when they call you otherwise, they really didn't want to be bothered. :)   I love the discipline I learned from the military and to this day still use and depend on the strength and tenacity it built within me.

After serving my country, I still had a love and desire to help people so I decided to go to culinary school to learn how to reach others through food.  Although I attended culinary school to increase my knowledge of both cooking and baking, my greatest growth came from the real world experience I gained while working at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco in the kitchens.

While employed at The Ritz Carlton, SF, we received the Malcolm Baldridge Award for Excellence in Customer Service as well as our 5th Star from the Mobil Travel Guide.  The standards that I acquired and demand of myself and staff, I feel, are reflected in the products we make.

The Truffle Shack is a wonderful dream come true for me!  I love to bake and see people smile when they see and taste a beautiful product.  I help make special occasions in the lives of others even more memorable.  The Oooooo's and Ahhhh's that follow after they have taken a bite of one of my creations keeps me striving to make the very best confections and treats with the highest quality ingredients..

My family is very supportive of my business and they especially love it when i am making new recipes and they have to sample them for me!  I am thankful to God for opening doors that need to be opened and closing those that need to be shut and for not giving up on me and for allowing me to use my gifts and talents to serve others.

Thank you for your interest in my products!
Blessings!
